Patients now have an option to the traditional tunnel-type magnets. Up to sixty percent of patients prefer an open MRI if they are given the opportunity. At Open MRI Centers of Georgia, patients are the highest priority. We understand phobias and apprehension. Our staff is trained to comfort the claustrophobic and assist those that may need encouragement to endure.

Our goal is to make the patient as comfortable as possible, while maintaining the highest technical quality available. There is a music system in the machine allowing calming music to be played. A friend or family member is always welcome to accompany the patient into the MRI room to sit with them.
